On April 22, 2025, the Toledo City Council passed the new Lead-Safe Ordinance. 

You must upload a Lead-Safe Inspection Clearance Report with passing lab results to the City of Toledo Department of Housing and Community Development.

Register your property unit:

Items needed to submit registration: You can find the build date and parcel number from Areis Online . 

1. The year the property was built.
2. The parcel number.
3. A Lead-Safe Inspection Clearance Report with lab results. 
4. Property Registration fee: $25.00, plus $1.06 processing fee.

1. Create an account to use the City of Toledo portal.
2. If you already have an account, log in to the City of Toledo permit portal.
3. Follow the instructions to upload your Clearance Report and lab results.
